Killer Instinct

Posted : 14 years, 7 months ago on 24 September 2009 09:59 (A review of Killer Instinct)

The sleepy little town of Perrysburg is about to wake up screaming when secrets buried in the past come back to haunt those guilty of greed, murder and a series of unspeakable crimes - crimes that until now have gone without proper punishment and revenge. But all that changes when the teens in the "Dare Club" spend the night in an abandoned and haunted asylum, the scene of the original sin. Corbin Bernsen, Dee Wallace Stone and a super hip ensemble cast bring this new Generation X horror film, filled with shocking twists, heart-stopping terror, and edge-of-your seat effects to life.

The Ambulance (1990) Eric Roberts

Posted : 14 years, 8 months ago on 2 August 2009 11:35 (A review of The Ambulance)

The screenplay is very clever, the dialogues are well written and there isn't a dull moment in the entire movie. 'The Ambulance' isn't a horror film so the deaths aren't as sadistic as in other Cohen films and there's also the lack of pungent social criticism. Still, this is a truly cool movie that deserves a wider audience. Judging by his performance here, I'd say it's unjust that Eric Roberts' career went to waste so badly. He looks a little goofy but his lines are exhilarating and his bad-boy charisma definitely works for the character he plays. Even more amusing are the supporting roles like, for example, James Earl Jones as the weird and over-stressed copper and Red Buttons as the persistent journalist.

The Betrayed

Posted : 14 years, 8 months ago on 30 July 2009 11:43 (A review of The Betrayed)

Itā€™s rare that a film can be considered good when it takes place in basically only one room. This isnā€™t one of those timesā€¦itā€™s just rare. The Betrayed is a thriller, but itā€™s terribly hard to be thrilled when you can see every angle of the room at all times. The door that separates our girl from our villains is made of glass, so you can always see someone coming. Of course, because of lighting you see the personā€™s larger-then-life shadow approaching a few moments ahead. Which can be scary. It wasnā€™t here, but againā€¦just mentioning.

Tammy and the T-Rex review

Posted : 14 years, 10 months ago on 29 May 2009 02:36 (A review of Tammy and the T-Rex)

Let's face it, the only reason anyone would watch this movie is because Denise Richards is in it. The best part of the movie it's the dance by Denise Richards on the end.
Anyhow here is the site so check it out yourself.

Satan's Little Helper

Posted : 14 years, 11 months ago on 28 May 2009 05:48 (A review of Satan's Little Helper)

ā€œSatanā€™s Little Helperā€. Itā€™s a unique B-flick. I canā€™t recall seeing a movie quite like it. It also delivers on some gore scenes as ā€œSatanā€ starts slicing and dicing for the kidā€™s amusement. I was slightly disappointed that the idiot kidā€™s sister did not take the time to ditch her Halloween costume. ā€œSatanā€ couldnā€™t keep his hands off of her. Who could blame him? But overall, ā€œSatanā€™s Little Helperā€ is a cool little movie. Itā€™s worth a look.
